Local organic haskap berries from Rosyfarms inspired this jam. This jam has a playful and concentrated flavour - my personal favourite. We start with local organic haskap berries, balance with wild blueberries from Quebec, add grated Ontario pears for base flavour and natural pectin, and elevate it with guava puree made from fresh ripe guava fruit. My favourite way to eat this is on our honey oat bread with some fromage blanc or camembert cheese - simply heavenly.
